Text prompts and questions you submit to AI models (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, etc.).

Files you upload for the "Chat with File" feature (including text files, PDF documents, images, etc.) and their content.

Text descriptions you use for the "Image Generation" feature.

Content you create or organize in "Canvas Mode."

Please Note: Content you submit to AI models (including file content) will be sent to the corresponding third-party model providers to process your request and generate responses. Fengcen commits not to use the content you submit to AI models (e.g., text prompts, questions, uploaded file content) to train our own AI models.

Usage Data: When you interact with the Service, we automatically collect information about your usage, such as the features you use, the AI models you select, credit consumption, access times, interaction frequency, number of devices, and sync status.

Technical Information: We automatically collect information about the device and connection you use to access the Service, including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, referring URL, and other technical log information.

Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use Cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect information, operate and improve the Service, authenticate users, and understand user behavior. You can configure your browser to refuse Cookies, but this may affect your ability to use certain features of the Service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Provide and Maintain the Service: To create and manage your account, process your subscriptions and credit purchases, provide access to various AI models and integrated tools, store and synchronize your chat history (except in "Ephemeral Mode"), respond to your requests, and provide customer support.
- Improve and Personalize the Service: To analyze usage trends and user preferences, understand which features are most popular, diagnose technical problems, develop new features, and improve the user experience. We may use anonymized, aggregated, or de-identified usage data and user feedback to improve the Service, but this does not include using the content you submit to AI models for model training.
- Billing and Quota Management: To calculate and deduct credits based on your usage (e.g., models invoked, number of images generated, size of files processed) and provide you with detailed usage statements.
- Security and Compliance: To protect the security and rights of our Service, users, and the public, detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or other illegal activities, enforce our Terms of Service, and comply with applicable laws and regulations or respond to valid legal requests (such as subpoenas or court orders).
- Communicate with You: To send you service-related notifications (e.g., account updates, billing reminders, service changes), marketing communications (if you opt-in), and respond to your inquiries.
- Limited Use of User Content: The content you submit to AI models (e.g., text prompts, questions, uploaded file content) is used solely to forward your request to the appropriate third-party model provider and display the results to you. We will not use this specific content to train our own AI models.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We only share your information in the following circumstances:
- Model Providers: To process your requests, the prompts you enter, the content of files you upload (for Chat with File), and image generation descriptions will be sent to our collaborating third-party AI model providers (e.g., OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, DeepSeek, etc.). While Fengcen does not use this data for model training, these providers will process your data according to their own privacy policies, which may include using it for the training and improvement of their models. We cannot control the data processing practices of third-party providers, and even in "Ephemeral Mode," we cannot guarantee that third-party providers do not store any records. We strongly recommend that you review the privacy policies of the relevant model providers to understand how they use your data.
- Service Providers: We engage third-party companies or individuals to assist us in operating the Service (e.g., payment processing by Stripe, cloud storage, and server hosting). These service providers only have access to your information to perform specific tasks on our behalf and are contractually obligated to protect your information's security and confidentiality and not use it for other purposes.
- Legal Requirements or Rights Protection: If we believe in good faith that disclosure of your information is necessary or appropriate to comply with a legal obligation, respond to lawful requests from government or law enforcement authorities, enforce our Terms of Service, protect the rights, property, or safety of Nora or others, or prevent or investigate possible illegal activities, fraud, or security threats.
- Business Transfers: If Nora is involved in a merger, acquisition, asset sale, bankruptcy, or reorganization, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you (e.g., via email or a prominent notice on our website) before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
- With Your Consent: In circumstances other than those listed above, we will obtain your consent before sharing your personal information.
4. Data Storage, Security, and Retention
- Data Storage: Your information (including encrypted chat history, unless using "Ephemeral Mode") is stored on secure cloud servers. We take commercially reasonable physical, technical, and administrative measures to protect the information we collect from loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
- Data Security: We use technologies such as encryption to protect sensitive data like your chat history. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
- Data Retention: We will retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Services. After your account is closed, we may retain some of your information for a reasonably necessary period to fulfill our legal obligations (e.g., tax and accounting requirements), resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, prevent fraud and abuse, or for backup and disaster recovery purposes. Anonymized or aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for analysis and service improvement.
- Ephemeral Mode: In "Ephemeral Mode," your chat history will not be saved to our servers. However, as mentioned earlier, your input will still be sent to third-party model providers to obtain responses, and we cannot guarantee that third-party model providers will not store or use the related data according to their policies (e.g., for model training). Please avoid entering any personal private information or sensitive data in this mode.
5. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access and Update: You can log in to your account to access and update some of your account information.
- Chat History Management: You can typically manage your chat history within the service interface (e.g., delete conversations). Note that records from "Ephemeral Mode" are not saved.
- Unsubscribe: You can cancel your Nora Web Pro subscription at any time through your account settings. After cancellation, you can continue to use the service until the end of your current subscription period.
- Account Deletion: You can request the deletion of your account. Please contact us for assistance. Note that after account deletion, some of your information may still be retained as described in Section 4 (Data Retention).
- Cookie Management: You can manage your Cookie preferences through your browser settings.
- Rights in Specific Jurisdictions: If you are a resident of certain jurisdictions (e.g., California), you may have additional rights, such as the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, request the deletion of your personal information, and opt-out of the sale of your personal information (although we do not currently "sell" personal information). To exercise these rights, please contact us using the methods provided in Section 9. We may need to verify your identity to process your request.
6. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party AI model providers and payment processors (like Stripe). This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of these third parties, especially regarding how the content you submit to AI models may be used by the third-party providers (potentially including model training). We encourage you to review their privacy policies to understand how they collect, use, and share your information. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services.
7. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take steps to delete it as soon as possible. If you believe we might have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us using the methods provided in Section 9.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email (sent to the email address associated with your account), by posting a notice within the Service, or by other appropriate means. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for the latest information. The "Updated Date" at the bottom of the page indicates when this policy was last updated. Your continued use of the Service after the changes become effective indicates your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
